We build under a sky we didn't make.
Lift up your eyes and see.
Astral Productions is named for the stars — partly because we love space, and partly as a dare: can game development reach further than it has? Not bigger. Further. We believe games are more than entertainment. They're culture, connection, and catalysts for imagination — experiences that don't just fill our time, but shape who we are.
Too often, the industry has traded player-first innovation for short-term profits. Fewer risks taken. Fewer truly meaningful experiences made. Players deserve more than recycled formulas — they deserve games that surprise, challenge, and inspire. We'd rather make unique ones: the kind that fill a gap you didn't know was there, and end before they wear out their welcome.
That ambition comes with standards, and the standards aren't marketing. They're how we behave when it would be easier not to — the things you should be able to count on from anything with our name on it.
What We Build By
Anyone can put values on a website. So for each one, here's the part you can actually check.
We say
Ingenuity without compromise.
If it isn't fun, it doesn't ship. No matter how long we worked on it. Deeper meaning is layered in, never at the cost of play. Our games take mechanical swings you can name: gravity you control mid-run, worlds where every surface is a floor. If you can't tell what the big idea is in one sentence, we haven't earned your download.
We say
Players above all else.
No exploitative microtransactions. No filler quests. No padding to inflate a runtime, and no dark patterns engineered to keep you logged in past the fun. You are a player, just like us, not a revenue stream. Every hour you give a game of ours should be an hour you wanted to spend.
We say
Relentless growth.
We adapt, learn, and evolve — pushing ourselves and the medium forward. Every prototype that fails teaches the next one; every project ships with a question we couldn't have asked before it. Experiences that move players, not just entertain them. That's the bar, and it keeps rising.
